Common Device Actions

These are the most frequent operational tasks from Device Details and are designed for quick access from the top action menu or tab strip. Keeping these actions in one place reduces navigation overhead and supports faster support workflows.

Enable or Disable a Device

To enable or disable a device, do the following:

1. Open the device record.
2. Click the three-dot action menu.
3. Toggle Enabled on or off.

Export Telemetry

To export telemetry, do the following:

1. Open the device record.
2. Click the three-dot action menu, then Export telemetry.
3. Select Start Date and End Date.
4. Click Download to export CSV telemetry for the selected UTC date range.

Edit Device

To edit a device, do the following:

1. Open the device record.
2. Click the three-dot action menu, then Edit.
3. Update available metadata fields.
4. Click Save.

Delete Device

To delete a device, do the following:

1. Open the device record.
2. Click the three-dot action menu, then Delete.
3. Confirm deletion in the confirmation dialog.
4. Proceed only after confirming the action is intentional.
