Create Insights Folders and Visualizations

Insights is the reporting workspace for organizing analytics content into folders and visual assets. A simple folder taxonomy plus consistent naming makes dashboards easier to find and maintain over time.

What to Click and Do Next

1. In the sidebar, click Operations > Insights.
2. Confirm the New action is visible.
3. Click New and choose New folder.
4. Enter folder Name and click Save.
5. Open the folder by clicking its row.
6. Use Search folders and visualizations... to locate content quickly.
7. Click New and choose New visualization.
8. Select a report type supported by your account (PowerBI Report, Superset Report, Tableau, Webpage Embedded, or Visualization).
9. Complete required source fields and click Save.
10. Open the created visualization and confirm rendering.

Edit or Clean Up Content

1. Click row menu ... on folder/visualization.
2. Click Edit to update metadata.
3. Click Delete to remove stale content.

Validation Checklist

1. Folder is visible and searchable.
2. Visualization renders correctly.
3. Star/search behavior works as expected.

Common Issues

• New action hidden due to missing permissions.
• Render failures caused by source connection or secret binding issues.
