Admin Organizations and Accounts

Organization and account governance is essential for multi-tenant control in the platform. These pages are used to structure business entities, create account boundaries, and control super-user and membership patterns at scale.

What to Click and Do Next

  1. Open Settings from the user menu.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Admin > Organizations.
  3. Use Search organizations to find existing entries.
  4. Click Create organization to add a new organization.
  5. Enter required fields (Name, optional Parent Organization, and Type) and save.
  6. Open the organization row to enter organization details.
  7. In the organization page, click the Accounts tab.
  8. Click Create account if a new account is needed.
  9. Use the organization Settings tab to update organization metadata and super users.
  10. Use delete only when decommissioning is approved and dependencies are reviewed.

Governance Best Practice

Use clear naming conventions for organizations and accounts to prevent operational confusion. Keep parent-child structure consistent with business ownership, and centralize super-user assignments to avoid access fragmentation.

Validation Checklist

  1. New organization appears in list and opens correctly.
  2. Account appears under the correct organization.
  3. Super-user configuration reflects intended governance owners.

Common Issues

  • Admin pages are missing for non-administrator users.
  • Account created under wrong organization context due to context-switch oversight.
